OPML in textpattern

It took a little of hacking textpattern to add OPML rendering of this website. It works this way: add /opml/SECTION_NAME to the root and you’ll get an OPML directory of links to posts, divided by categories (that in textpattern work like tags so a post can be visible in more than one category). The only section I’m putting content in for the moment is “compass”, so the only meaningful OPML URL is this. Seems to work both in Radio (see picture) and in Dave Winer’s OPML editor. The hack consists of both a plugin and a modification of a textpattern file and is somehow installation-specific. For this reason I’m not releasing anything now but I will soon if there will be interest. I’ve put a new little OPML button at top right of every page that matches the size and style of the orange xml button, go steal that if you need it.
