Advice to my readers: give Don what Don deserves ![]()
If you're in any way interested in programming, user interaction, graphics and cool technologies like OpenLaszlo or if you simply appreciate talent go read through Don Hopkins' website, it's full of great stuff. Then subscribe to his feed, Don seems to be almost unknown in the blogosphere and that's outrageous.
Wikipedia says about Don: "Don Hopkins is an artist and programmer specializing in computer-human interaction and computer graphics. He invented pie menus, inspired Richard Stallman to use the term copyleft, built imaginative applications for the NeWS window system, made the SimCity computer game run on several versions of Unix, and did much of the core programming of The Sims. Don also wrote the demonstations that showed off the capabilities of the ScriptX multimedia scripting language created by the Apple/IBM research spinoff Kaleida."
