Really good news from Really Simple Syndication:"...we will release the aggregator under an open source license, the same one we use for the OPML Editor and for the Frontier kernel, so the community can have a go at it, and equally important, to serve as a test-bed for the implementation of OPML reading lists for RSS aggregators". I've always loved Dave's tools for being a killer combination of simplicity and innovation and, being Radio's aggregator my all time favorite (despite a number of problems I have with it) I can't wait to see its evolution. My only regret is that I've never found the time to dive into frontier programming: from what I'm seeing people do, hacking those tools must be lots of fun. Permanent link to this item in the archive.
